A Little Love for John

I have such joy with every prayer
I lift for my closest friends
Sometimes it seems to be so unfair!
The Lord loves you and it's Love He sends
I don't see you sick, dear John
I see you well and filled with joy
It's God's power for you - pouring on . . .
And you are no longer the enemy's toy
He can't hurt you any more ~ I know
Because I pray in Jesus' name
We've kicked him far as the wind doth blow
Our Lord is here to heal your frame!

I love you both, I really do
I pray every day - sometimes twice
I love to pray - it feels so nice.
